Valve Bag Fillers

Valve bag fillers load product through the valve opening of a multiwall bag. The valve closes after the bag fills, which keeps dust down and makes a clean, stackable package. The machine you need depends on the material to be packaged.

There are three feed types. Air uses blower air, impeller uses a spinning pump, and auger uses a screw. Each application suits a different machine.

Comparing the Three Feed Types

If you are not sure which one fits, start with your material. That decides more than anything else.

Choosing a Weighing System

All three feed types are available in stainless contact surfaces, and all three need the correct feed hopper to reach optimum rates and weight accuracy. Correct bag sizing and construction differ by style. The weighing choice is separate from the feed choice.

Common to All Valve Bag Fillers

  • Mechanical scale weighing: less maintenance and faster production, generally less accurate than electronic
  • Electronic weighing systems: more accurate but slower in bag filling and higher in price
  • All three types require the correct feed hopper for optimum rates and weight accuracy
  • Correct bag sizing and construction are different for each style
  • All three available in stainless steel contact

Valve Bag Placing

Robotic Valve Bag Placer

Automatic valve bag placing to eliminate manual spouting of bags. Single and dual spout placers, placing up to 14 bags per minute.

Multiple Spout Operator Deck

For valve bag fillers in two, three, and four spout decks, with operator chair, empty bag racks, take away conveyor, and surge bins.
